Hello and Welcome!

Welcome to our adoption blog! We are so happy that you are taking the time to read about us and look at our pictures. We know that this is a very serious decision for you. We don't take this situation lightly. We wish you the best of luck in your journey and we can't wait to get to know you.

We are Adrian and Amy and we are so excited to become parents!! We live in Dallas, Texas. We were married in Houston, TX in July 2006. We met on a dating website. Crazy way to meet someone, but it worked for us! The first thing Amy thought when she saw Adrian for the first time was, "He really IS tall!" Amy had just graduated with her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and had moved to Mesa, AZ when she met Adrian. He was going to school for automotive technology.

We have been married now over six years and have so much fun together! With Adrian's family we do a lot of camping and four wheeling, and with Amy's we play a lot of games and go on vacation. We have a fun sense of humor and are very loving towards each other, and we think we are very funny! We are the best of friends. We love to go on vacation, even if it's only a couple hours away or camping for the weekend. We love seeing and doing new things. We also love spending weekends being lazy catching up on all of our favorite TV shows. We have two cats that have been a part of our lives for over 6 years now. They are brother and sister and they are a huge part of our family and we love them! It's Adrian's ultimate dream to have a dog in the future, so we will have to see about that! :)

When we were first married, we knew we wanted to have a family. When our efforts and time in fertility treatments were unsuccessful, we then turned our thoughts and prayers towards adoption. We both received confirmation that adoption was the right choice for our family. Adoption is already a huge part of our lives. Adrian's brother and sister in law were blessed to adopt four children and it has been a tremendous blessing to watch other friends and family members blessed through adoption. We are very religious and belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. We plan to raise our children in our religion as well.

Our families are so excited for this journey we are on and we are so looking forward to being parents! We've been waiting over 6 years to have children and this is really an exciting time in our lives. We are so blessed to be where we are today and think every day about what it will be like with children in our lives. We are so anxious and excited for that day to finally come! Though we do not know who you are, please know that we pray for you and think about you every day. We want our kids to know they are loved by their adoptive family and their birth family. Our kids will always know how important their birth parents are to us. We would not be able to be parents without you. Adoption is very important to us. We are willing to do whatever you are comfortable with whether you want an open, semi open, or closed adoption. Ultimately we would love to have 4 or 5 children but we know it is all in God's hands.

Thank you for considering us as parents for your child. Please write us with any questions or comments you may have. Feel free to learn more about us by clicking on the tabs at the top of the page.

With love,
Adrian and Amy
